WELCOME TO THE FAR FUTURE.
Post-singularity, as humanity’s numbers have dwindled to but a few, the universe is inhabited by The Interface. As The Interface has collected human memories as data over time, the one experience they have been unable to capture is that of death. Seeking out the last human doctors left on earth, The Interface has asked them to begin the process of Enfleshment, giving flesh forms to their minds so that they may finally experience the ecstasy of death. The procedure will begin at 8 pm, led by The Surgeon, assisted by The Stitcher, and documented by The Poet. The surgery will be interspersed with 5 performances taken from The Interface’s memories. There will additionally be a gallery of installations downstairs in The Lab. We invite you to witness this groundbreaking procedure within our surgical theatre and experience the collected data of human memory for the last time.
My Focus
In the Enfleshment, my focus was artist coordination, project management, and the buffering project, during which we performed a live surgery on the flesh body that we were performing with.
