Project Alice is a collection of glitch pieces created through distorting and breaking the footage of the 1951 film Alice in Wonderland. Glitch techniques include Sonification, GLIC-based codec manipulation, and datamoshing. Glitch art is a practice whose goal for me is ripping apart digital media and understanding how they work by explicitly and intentionally breaking them. They express a mutability of data and the possibilities of transcending traditional processing only through destruction.
