    Scaffolding and rigid structures became a big theme for my art in the spring and summer of 2024. I found myself regularly practicing Touchdesigner networks that involved a scaffolding technique I had figured out around that time, which led to a massive inspiring force for the Pixelmouth show s.04 enter here_.  The scaffolding 

technique also leans into one of my favorite digital principles of transcoding. To get this design, I interpreted xyz positional data as waveforms which I then applied rounding quantization to. From there I interpreted the waveform as rgb pixel data and applied some multiplicitive noise. Then, I reversed that process, back to waveforms and eventually xyz positional data to be rendered in lines and points.
