Ode to A Mulberry Tree was a project made in community with the Mulberry tree outside my window. I wanted to design a similar tree in touchdesigner using L-Systems, which are a fractal notation system used to express recursive growth.
The L-system to describe the tree is:

where K is a cluster of leaves.
The video is a 25x sped up version of a longform clip that was projected alongside the tree in the autumn of 2023.
