The Grow Sketch was a small experiment with interactive text and Phyllotaxis, which is a specific spiral arrangement that follows the golden ratio and is seen throughout the botanical world. Phyllotaxis represented a first step toward the algorithmic botanical inspiration that serves as a basis for many later pieces.
