e.10 Reaction DiffusionDigital, Touchdesigner, Organic
Reaction diffusion is one of my favorite mathematics/physics visualizations ever. Reaction diffusion systems are mathematical models that represent changes in space and concentration of chemical substances over time. In Touchdesigner they’re done through feedback networks that blur and sharpen images, splitting them between black and white areas, or two-component reaction-diffusion equations.

The dynamic cellular look to reaction diffusion and the variety of ways it can be processed never get boring for me, and I’m constantly going back to reaction diffusion itself or fractal interpretations of it all the time. Each of these experiments is presented in chronological order of creation going from March 2023 - February 2024.
